What is a PTA? A group of teachers, parents, guardians, staff, and families working together to make a positive impact on our school community. We discuss school issues, answer questions as well as organize volunteers for school events and fundraisers. PTA funds help to supplement school and district funding in order to enrich our students’ experience at John Rogers.
How can you get involved? Become a member of the PTA, attend PTA meetings, volunteer. Meetings can be attended virtually or in person and attendance is not mandatory for membership.
How can you join? Annuals due to be a voting member of the PTA are $9 and can be made by visiting the John Rogers Washington State PTA website.
Interested in Volunteering? Email johnrogerspta@gmail.com for a list of currently available volunteer positions. Opportunities may include planning events, attending field trips, art docent, raft captain, classroom help, and more!
